If your task did not meet the required grading criteria, you will have the option to resubmit it for another review. You can learn more about how task grading works in the Task Grading article.
Step 1: Check your feedback
When your task has been reviewed, you’ll receive an email letting you know your review is ready.
You can also track the status of your task in your Student Portal:
- If it’s your first time submitting the task, the Submission Status column will be blank until you request a review.
- If the task has been submitted and reviewed before, the status will show “Reviewed”.
- Once you request a review or resubmission, the status will change to “Requested”.
- After the review is complete, the status will become a clickable hyperlink where you can access your reviewer’s feedback.
Tip: Always take time to carefully read your mentor’s feedback. It explains what you need to improve before resubmitting.
Step 2: Make the necessary changes
Before requesting a resubmission:
✔️ Apply the recommended changes to your task based on your mentor's feedback.
✔️ Upload your updated task to the correct platform:
For bootcamps using GitHub, upload your updated work to your GitHub repository.
For bootcamps using Notion, update your task in Notion.
Make sure your updated work is uploaded before requesting a resubmission.
Step 3: Request a resubmission
Once your updated work is ready:
- Log into your Student Portal.
- Find the task you want to resubmit.
- If your task is eligible for resubmission, you’ll see a red “Request again” button instead of the usual white “Request review” button.
- Click the “Request again” button
- A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm that the work you are submitting is your own.
Tick the confirmation box and click "Request review".
- Once submitted, your task will go back into the review queue for another review.
Step 4: Wait for your updated review
After resubmission:
✅ Your task will be reviewed again.
✅ You’ll receive another email once the review is complete.
✅ The Submission Status will update to a clickable link so you can access your new feedback.
If further changes are needed, simply follow these steps again.
Additional Important Information
When can I resubmit a task?
You can only resubmit tasks where your completeness score was below 3/4.
If you’re unsure about your score or how grading works, check the Task Grading article.
Submission Limits
You can submit a maximum of 3 tasks within any 24-hour period.
This includes both new submissions and resubmissions.
Think of it like this:
If you submit 3 tasks in the same day — for example, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening — you won’t be able to submit again until 24 hours after your last submission.
Example:
Task 1 submitted at 8:00 AM
Task 2 submitted at 3:00 PM
Task 3 submitted at 8:00 PM
After that, you can only submit again after 8:00 PM the following day.
Tip: The submission limit doesn’t reset at midnight — the 24-hour countdown starts from the time of your third submission.
