HyperionDev Bootcamps run on fixed schedules designed to support consistent cohort progression, collaboration, and structured learning outcomes. As a result, students are generally not permitted to pause or take breaks from their studies during the course of their Bootcamp.
Emergency Pause Requests
In limited circumstances, students may request an Emergency Pause where exceptional or unforeseen circumstances beyond their control significantly impact their ability to continue studying.
Examples may include:
- Serious medical emergencies
- Bereavement
- Major personal or family emergencies
- Other exceptional circumstances deemed reasonable by HyperionDev
Please note that all pause requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and approval is not guaranteed.
Important Considerations
- Emergency pauses are granted solely at HyperionDev’s discretion.
- Supporting documentation may be requested as part of the review process.
- Pauses may impact your cohort progression, deadlines, graduation timelines, or access to certain support services.
- Financial obligations and payment commitments may still apply during approved pauses, depending on your enrolment agreement and payment plan.
- Students are encouraged to communicate challenges early so that support teams can assist wherever reasonably possible.

If you are struggling academically or personally, we strongly encourage you to:
- Contact Student Support as early as possible
- Engage with available academic and wellbeing support
- Work with the team on a development or catch-up plan
HyperionDev may also conduct progress reviews and proactive check-ins to support student success.
