Our live lectures are optional learning opportunities designed to extend and enrich the bootcamp experience.
These sessions often explore topics beyond the core bootcamp curriculum and may include:
- Industry concepts and discussions
- Extended technical topics
- Problem-solving sessions
- Technical interview preparation
- Practical demonstrations
- Additional Q&A opportunities
Lectures are hosted on Google Meet and students join as viewers or moderated contributors.
Are Lectures Compulsory?
No. Lectures are not compulsory and are considered an additional learning resource.
Students can successfully complete the bootcamp without attending every lecture, provided they continue engaging with the required tasks, submissions, and course material.
Why Attend Lectures?
Although optional, lectures can help students:
- Strengthen their understanding of technical concepts
- Explore topics beyond the bootcamp syllabus
- Gain exposure to industry-relevant skills
- Learn different approaches to solving problems
- Ask questions related to bootcamp tasks and coursework
Participation During Lectures
Students participate through:
- The Q&A feature in Google Meet
- Polls and interactive prompts
- Following along with demonstrations and discussions
Students join lectures as viewers or moderated contributors, meaning:
- Student microphones, cameras and chat remain disabled
- Questions are submitted through the Q&A tool instead of verbally or via the chat
This structure helps maintain lecture quality and minimise disruptions during larger sessions.
Asking Questions During Lectures
Even though lectures may include broader or more advanced topics, students are welcome to ask questions related to:
- Bootcamp tasks
- Coursework challenges
- Concepts they are struggling with
- Practical implementation questions
Questions can be submitted through the Q&A feature during the lecture.
