Level 4 typically takes approximately 75 days to complete.
This may vary depending on your pace and progress, but you will be guided on the expected timelines once you begin the accredited component.
During Level 4, it is important to stay consistent with your work. This helps ensure that you remain on track and are ready for the final assessment, known as the FISA.
You may progress through your Level 4 tasks at your own pace and are welcome to move ahead if you are able to do so. However, falling behind can become a problem because Level 4 forms part of a structured accredited process.
If you fall behind, this may impact your readiness for the final assessment.
If you feel that you are struggling or falling behind, it is important to reach out for support as early as possible so that we can assist you in getting back on track.
Completing Level 4 Early ⏩
You are welcome to move ahead with your Level 4 work if you are able to complete tasks earlier than expected.
However, completing Level 4 early does not mean that you can complete the final assessment early.
Progression to the FISA follows a structured process with set assessment dates. This means that even if you complete your Level 4 requirements ahead of schedule, you will still complete the FISA during the scheduled assessment window.
This ensures that all learners complete the final assessment under the correct conditions and in line with the required process.
The Final Assessment: FISA 📝
FISA stands for Final Integrated Summative Assessment.
It is the final assessment you complete after finishing Level 4, the QCTO-accredited component of your programme.
The FISA is designed to assess your overall knowledge and practical skills. It helps confirm whether you meet the required competency standards for the accredited component.
The FISA includes both practical and theoretical components. You will be required to demonstrate the skills and knowledge you developed during Level 4.
The assessment is conducted under controlled conditions to ensure fairness, consistency, and compliance.
Who Administers the FISA 👥
The FISA is administered by us as your training provider and has been approved by the QCTO.
This means that while the assessment meets QCTO requirements, it is facilitated and managed by our team.
You will receive the relevant details before your scheduled assessment date so that you know what to expect and how to prepare.
FISA Format and Duration ⏱️
The FISA is a structured assessment that typically takes approximately 6 hours to complete.
It is conducted online under supervised conditions. This may include live invigilation to ensure that the assessment is completed fairly and in line with the required standards.
Before your scheduled FISA date, you will receive full details about the format, duration, requirements, and what you need to prepare.
Preparing for the FISA ✅
To prepare for the FISA, it is important to complete all Level 4 requirements and review your work carefully.
You should make sure that you understand the key concepts covered during Level 4 and that you are comfortable applying the practical skills you have developed.
We also encourage you to make use of available support, such as mentor sessions, if you need guidance before your assessment.
Being prepared will help you feel more confident and ready for the final assessment.
If You Do Not Pass the FISA 🔁
If you do not pass the FISA on your first attempt, you will be given the opportunity to rewrite the assessment.
Support will be available to help you prepare before your next attempt.
The goal is to help you understand where improvement is needed and give you the opportunity to demonstrate competency.
Getting Support When You Need It 🤝
If you are unsure about your Level 4 timeline, your FISA preparation, or your next steps, please reach out for support as early as possible.
Asking for help early gives the team the best opportunity to guide you, support your progress, and help you stay on track.
Your accredited journey is structured, but you are not expected to navigate it alone.
